Lest we forget Ronald Reagan’s role in backing the former Guatemalan dictator Efraín Ríos Montt, who has now been found guilty of genocide and crimes against humanity in a Guatemalan court. Ríos Montt was sentenced to 80 years in prison for ordering the deaths of 1,771 indigenous Ixil Mayans during his dictatorship from 1982-1983.
